Amy Eagan
Head Coach - 1st Season

A new page in the history of the Ashford University women's basketball program was turned in late April as Amy Eagan was brought on as the head coach.

Originally a native of Shelbina, Mo., Eagan is returning to the Midwest Collegiate Conference and the surrounding Quad Cities area as she begins her first year with the Saints this coming fall.

Eagan most recently served previously as a head coach for MCC counterpart St. Ambrose University, leading the Queen Bees' women's basketball program to an NAIA National Tournament appearance and 47-18 record in just a two-year span. She was named the MCC Coach of the Year in 2007 and guided SAU to a league championship and runner-up finish during her tenure in Davenport.

Eagan was the top assistant coach at Quincy University (Ill.) and helped the program emerge into the national spotlight, turning its fortunes into a Div. II powerhouse. The Quincy program was the first in school history to make to the NCAA Div. II Tournament with a pair of "Sweet 16" appearances and an "Elite Eight" berth.

Eagan contributed to the Lady Hawks' stellar 96-32 overall record in a short duration while at Quincy. The Lady Hawks also won back-to-back Great Lakes Valley Conference regular season and tournament titles.

After her playing career at the collegiate level, Eagan went overseas to play as a professional in Asker, Norway, while also coaching the Junior National Team for the Asker women's basketball club.

Eagan was a standout player on the hardcourt as an All-American point guard at the college level at Div. II Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo. She also compiled a long list of accolades at South Shelby High School, where she was named to the Missouri Class 2A All-State Team.

A graduate from Truman State in May of 2001, she obtained her bachelor's of science degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Health Education. One of four other siblings, Eagan currently resides in the Clinton area.

Jordan Wilde
Grad Assistant - 2nd Season

Wilde joins the Saints' athletics staff in her second year as a graduate assistant women's basketball coach by way of the Northwest region where she played collegiately at both Western Oregon University and George Fox University.

Wilde assists Ashford Head Coach Amy Eagan in all facets of the women's basketball program for the upcoming season while specializing with the post players.

Wilde is a 2008 graduate from Div. II Western Oregon University in Monmouth where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in Legal Studies. In her lone season on the Wolves' basketball team (2006-07), Wilde started 11 contests, averaging 2.8 points per game.

Wilde transferred from Div. III George Fox University in Newberg, Ore., in 2006 after helping advance the Bruins to the Elite Eight in the 2005 NCAA Div. III National Tournament. In 2004-05, she played in 21 games as a freshman, averaging just under seven minutes per game. As a sophomore, Wilde appeared in 23 contests.

Wilde also brings in experience as a basketball coach at Redmond High School and Central High School in Independence, Ore., where she worked with players on basic skills and techniques. At Central, she assisted both the junior varsity and varsity squads.

Wilde lettered in volleyball and basketball at Snohomish High School while competing on several AAU teams that included the Seattle Magic, Northwest Heat and Puget Sound Flight.

Wilde graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree and a minor in Legal Studies in 2008 from Western Oregon University. She currently resides in Clinton.
